Blog of the Week
My two new most favoritest bloggers are Charisa Wernick and Rachel from San Diego. I just discovered both of them, and they are both Iron-Triathletes and they both write well and update often!
Check them out!
Charisa (from what I’ve read) is a 30-something triathlete who is making her debut as a professional triathlete this year. She is sponsored by ZOOT, Quintana Roo, Profile Design, Tri-Sports.com, Rudy Project, GU and several others! Lucky lady. She also likes gardening, she’s a vegetarian, she appears to have a thing for gnomes, and she kicks some serious ass. I’m excited to read about her adventures this year as she takes on the bad-ass ladies of Ironman! Good luck Charisa!
I discovered Rachel from San Diego’s blog about a month ago and she is
an incredible story teller. She has competed in a couple of Ironman distance races and is training for her third. She’s racing in about 10 days at Ironman St. George. I have few friends that are going to be racing with Rachel in St. George as well, so it has been interesting reading about her progress and also following along with my friend’s training. I have also been enjoying Rachel’s perspective on training because we are both training for our third Ironman distance race. I’m sure she’ll have some interesting posts this week as she prepares for St. George! Go get ‘em Rachel.
